Skills Upgrading Scheme Courses Arranged by HKMA and SCOPE of City University

In response to the incidents of wrongly dispensed drugs to patients in May 2005, the Hong Kong Medical Association has worked hard to seek avenues to provide training to frontline clinic staff. This was done not only to avoid preventable mistakes but also to provide better service to patients. As a result of fruitful discussions, courses were arranged with School of Continuing and Professional Education of City University of Hong Kong under the Skills Upgrading Scheme of the Education and Manpower Bureau. A course promotion session is arranged with course-providers giving a 3-minute presentation on their background and course details (e.g. date, time and venue). Members of the media are cordially invited to attend. Details are as follows:
