The Hong Kong Medical Association Orchestra announces its visit to the Castle Peak Hospital to perform at patients' bedsides. This is a chance to capture a psychiatrist singing, accompanied by doctors and other musicians. We invite you to explore on the theme as to why and how mental illness might be related to creativity in music. Doctors and patients in the Castle Peak Hospital might also tell you more about psychiatric illness.

Rundown of the day's program :

29 December 2001 (Saturday)
2:30 to 3:30 pm Ensembles to visit psychiatric wards including forensic wards, psycho-geriatric wards and wards for the mentally handicapped.
3:30 to 4:30 pm Whole orchestral performance with Dr. Sylvia Chen in the Main Hall
All media welcomed. Please pay due respect to the patients' privacy and obtain their consent before taking photographs & doing interviews.
